Medical In-Touch Services, OMEGA Psi Fraternity, Regina's Winter Drive; S.C.M.B.A., W.A.T.O.E.S, Inc.

SCMBA-Stark County Minority Business Association

ABCD was instrumental in the organization of this group and currently serves as convener. The purpose of this non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization is to foster the development and growth of minority business in Stark County. As a result of the efforts of State Rep. The grant will be used primarily to hire staff for implementing a Mentorship Program in conjunction with the Greater Canton Chamber of Commerce. It will also allow a partnership with Jobs Ohio who is sponsoring the Elite Program funded by the London Stock Exchange.

SCMBA has selected (13) Businesses/Agencies (including ABCD, Inc.) to participate in Elite's first round of workshops which will include such topics as:

Risk Exposure Assessment; Resiliency Planning;  Baseline External and Internal Analysis; Core Challenges; Defining and Planning Strategic Initiatives; Financing and Fundraising options.

Following Graduation, the participating organizations will become part of a global network of more that 1,500 businesses across 42 Countries and an exclusive global ecosystem of successful business leaders, expert advisors and engaged investors.

ABCD, Inc. provides the following assistance to SCMBA:

  • Serves as the Fiscal Agent and provides Administrative Office Space.
