Ray Sales

I have been retired from the practice of law since 2004, when I embarked on the study of creative writing, beginning with writing workshops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, Sacramento, and Iowa City, Iowa. My first novel, Light of the Dove--One Man's Journey Back Home, was published in January-February, 2016. I am currently working on a second novel entitled, A Philadelphia Negro, based on the life and times of James Forten.
