About Lisa

Lisa Johnson RN, BSN, CDP, has always has a heart to serve others. She grew up in Akron OH. Prior to her work experience at the Aultman Health Foundation, Lisa worked for several years at Kaiser Permanente and Akron Children’s Medical Center. 

She currently serves as the Diversity Inclusion & Equity - Employee Relations Director at the Aultman Health Foundation/Aultman Hospital. Lisa manages several HR staff members, and has worked at Aultman for 16 years, serving as the Patient Advocate Coordinator, Transitional Care RN, Aultman College of Nursing and Health Science Adjunct staff, Hospice RN Liaison, staff RN on the Cardiac Care and Stroke Unit. 

Lisa actively participates on several internal and external boards, councils, and committees. She serves as the chair elect for 2021 SCHRA- Stark County Human Resources Association, 2020 President of SCBNA-Stark County Black Nurse’s Association and 2019-2020 Chair of SCMHC-Stark County Minority Health Coalition. 

Lisa takes great pride in assisting to develop the City of Green Diversity and Inclusion Community and school systems strategic plan, she serves on the Green City Council Diversity Staffing and Board Appointment Committee. She has project development, project management and Six Sigma experience. 

She is a public speaker, educator, and develops and facilitates councils.

Lisa is pursuing a higher education degree. She is a proud member of the Devine 9- Sigma Gamma Rho Eta Delta Sigma Chapter and serves on the bi-laws and social justice committees.
