Darlene Knott – Chief Financial Officer, ABCD, Inc.

Darlene Knott serves as the Chief Financial Officer of ABCD, Inc. in Canton, Ohio, where she has dedicated an impressive 42 years to advancing the organization’s mission and strengthening its financial foundation. Beginning her career at ABCD and growing alongside the agency, Darlene has become a cornerstone of its leadership team, ensuring sound fiscal management and accountability across all departments.

She holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting and will complete her Bachelor’s degree in December 2025. In 2026, she plans to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam, further solidifying her expertise in financial leadership.

Beyond her professional role, Darlene is deeply involved in the Canton community. She serves on the board of the Stark County Minority Business Association, supporting local entrepreneurs, and volunteers with the Stark County Black Nurses, contributing her time to initiatives that improve community health and well-being.

Outside of work, Darlene enjoys hiking and exploring family genealogy, passions that reflect her love for both the outdoors and preserving meaningful legacies.

She is one of the hardest working people at ABCD, Darlene provides moral support and warmth to the office staff and community.
