Welcome
ABCD, Inc. was created as a part of the Community Developers Program of the United Methodist Church (UMC) and was incorporated in 1973. In 1988 following a major strategic planning session, ABCD shifted from a regular social services organization to a Community Development Corporation still maintaining its affiliation with the U.M.C.

and
Staff
ABCD is
governed
by a 15
member
Board of
Directors
representing
various
segments
of the
Stark
County
community
in Ohio.
A total
of 24
staff
and
independent
contractors
are
responsible
for all
the
services
provided. |

Funding
ABCD operates annually on a $1.2 million budget with funding primarily from government contracts, service fees, foundation grants and private contributions.
